Yajilin...

Has anyone else seen the yajilin puzzles in the latest edition of Sudoku Pro? Quite an interesting little puzzle, a little like slitherlink in that you have to create a continuous loop around the grid, only by using different rules. I've only managed the easy one so far. Shame there weren't a few more of the easier ones to get used to the rules. I haven't seen that one anywhere else.

Yajilin are VERY addictive, like I've found most japanese puzzles! I have some of these in penpa mix 5 from Nikoli.

Is Nikoli something we're allowed to mention around here, by the way?

Yes you can

If there's interest in yajilin then I'm sure we can create some and add to the site - it's one of the few puzzles we don't have here (it is hard to keep up with there being so many relatively unseen japanese puzzles out there which appear in the British media from time to time).
