Good to hear that you like this game. The number of puzzles are usually weighted by two factors - how popular they are and time to produce.

There are loads of sudoku and other Japanese puzzles as these are really popular and virtually all members use them at some time. The battleships there are less and lots of people haven't heard of them or play them.

And the other reason is they are made manually and therefore take quite a time to create and check; we've not seen a generator for these that makes any but the most simplest of puzzles... if anyone knows of a good generator that is public domain then let us know!
