Hanjie: Online Player
We have developed a unique online hanjie player here at the Puzzle Club. When the player loads, the puzzle will display as below (but bigger):
To highlight a cell, simply click it with the left-button of the mouse. It will turn from yellow (the default background colour) to black:
To mark a cell that definitely is NOT filled, press the right mouse button. This will turn it white.
You can drag with the mouse to select and colour multiple cells in one go, this is useful if you are filling in a run of coloured cells, or run of cells that must be blank. Click a black cell to make it empty again; similarly you can toggle cells you have marked as blank (white) by clicking them again with the right mouse button.
Once you have finished the puzzle, you will have marked exactly as many cells as black as are listed in the clues for each row and column. Thus, if a row is marked '1,1,1' you will have three cells marked black in that row, with at least one cell between them that is not filled.
It is your choice whether you decide to mark all the non-filled squares as blank (eg right clicking them to turn them white).
To check your solution at any stage, click the 'See if you've got it right!' link: this will tell you if you got it right, or how far off you are.
To reveal the solution, click 'Give up and show solution'. Finally if you make a real hash of it, you can click 'Empty the Grid' to start again!
